Island Appliance Repair's COVID-19 Guidelines
The CDC and OSHA, have published safe repair guidelines. To protect you and the technicians that are entering your home we ask for your cooperation and understanding with the following.
We CANNOT currently accept service requests where active Covid-19 virus may be present. Our staff will be asking safety questions prior to entering the home. You may be asked these questions by more than one staff member as a part of our safety process.
COVID-19 Screening Questions:
- Does anyone in your household have an active infection, or symptoms of infection, such as fever, dry cough or other respiratory issues?
- Has anyone in your households had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or someone quarantined for suspected COVID-19 over the past 14 days, or someone who is currently awaiting test results?
- Has anyone in your households traveled by commercial air, national/regional rail, or long distance bus service, or public transit within the last 14 days?
If your household has any of these conditions, we cannot schedule a repair. Please wait a minimum of 14 days from disqualifying event to contact us again for service. Our safety and the safety of our customers depends on an honest and responsible approach to answering these questions. Please do not place our technicians and our company in a compromised situation during this time.
We are reducing our hours to allow our staff to maintain their health and personal well being during this stressful time.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this causes and thank you for your understanding.
